The Best Paul Rudd Films Throughout The Years

without comments

These days, there are a handful of actors who seem like they appear in every movie. One of those people is definitely Paul Rudd. This funny and likable actor has been around for at least 15 years, but it was only recently that his popularity exploded to new heights. Ask any 20 something year old girl who their favorite funny actors are you are likely to hear Paul Rudd as one of their answer.

But which of his movies are the best? Here are some of my favorite Paul Rudd movies of the past few years.

The first movie that I will mention is Role Models. This movie stars Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott as a duo of troublemaking adults, who end up having to enroll in the big brothers little brothers program in order to avoid jail time. Hilarity ensues.

Another movie that stars Paul Rudd that is definitely one of my favorites is Clueless. This is a classic 1990s film and a role that Paul Rudd himself probably is not proud of. He actually plays a serious role in this film, for a change.

Another movie that I definitely have to include on this list is Wet Hot American Summer. This movie is one of my all time favorite comedies and Rudd is only part of the reason why. If you like dry films focusing around summer camp in the 1980s, look no further.

Another fantastic film that Paul Rudd stars in is the recently released I Love You, Man. Rudd stars as an engaged man who realizes that he has no male friends to invite to his wedding and then finds Jason Segal. It is hilariously awkward and enjoyable.

One other great film that I have to include on this list is The 40 Year Old Virgin. This Judd Apatow directed comedy was one of the surprise hits when it came out. This movie also stars Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Romany Malco.

Hopefully there are one or more comedies on this list that you have not yet seen. For a good laugh, I recommend them all!

The writer also regularly writes about subject including the custom shower curtain and Croscill bath accessories.

Free Movie Downloads: Watching Movies From The Internet

without comments

Lately, many of us get movie rentals all the time. More often than not we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, in lieu of seeing the film at the cinema. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD’s in Oct. 2008.

Another new method for getting films is movie downloads. You can go to websites on the internet that have tons of movie downloads. This is an easy way to make a large movie collection.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana is back in action, after a 19 year break. This is the fourth movie about the adventures of Indiana Jones. In this, the latest adventure, An older Indiana takes on the Russians. Now, the chase is on for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, which are thought to have secret powers.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: One time crook Ben Garvey seems to have gotten his act together. With a beauitiful wife and daughter, and steady paycheck, things are pretty darn good. Then, he loses his job, and reverts to his old life of crime. The heist is a complete failure, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He fully expects to be killed by lethal injection. Shockingly, he regains consciousness only to find himself in a psychiatric ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Mr. Michael Dixon is a well seasoned boarder agent in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Now, things in his past are going to threaten his future. He was a member of a viscious L.A. gang, before final breaking away. When an unfortunate meeting exposes his whereabouts to his old gang, his family is put in grave danger. He must risk his future, and make sure that gang leader drake is able to safely move a large drug shipment from Mexico into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This film tells us the tale of Military scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has been changed into a creature called the green Hulk. This box office hit is an epic tale of the marvel universe comic super hero the green Hulk. Key actors include Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth. This film is directed by Louis Leterrier. This movie would be classified as a science fiction film.

DECEPTION: Accountant Jonathan McQuarry has an unusual meeting with charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that changes his life forever. John is exposed to “The List”, which provides access to a secret world of sexual extasy. Unfortunately, he also gets caught up in a treacherous game of back stabbing and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a mission to discover what happened to his brother, professor Trevor Anderson sets out on a journey that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. This is a new version of the 1959 production, which was based on the brilliant book by Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), with his wife and many other frightened people are all fleeing Philadelphia on a train. The city has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by some strange illness, and are dying at their own hands. Can mankind find an answer, or is this the end of the human race?

IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanastan. They command him to build weapons for the insurgent group. He was injured when his convoy was attacked, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To survive his injuries, and break away from his enemies, he develops a suit of armor, which protects and strengthens him. Iron Man is born.

SPEED RACER: The 1990′s television cartoon gets real actors. Just like The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon into a movie with real actors. Speed Racer is a young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a major rally car race that had cost his brother his life. Against all odds, and the future of the family business at risk, Speed Racer partners up with his former adversary Racer X, in an effort to capture the championship, and save the family business.
